What we will not do for you

What we will not do for you

We create the opportunity. You close it. That line is on most of our pages and it is worth explaining what sits on each side of it, because the boundary is deliberate rather than a limitation we are apologizing for.

What we do

Build and run campaigns on Meta and Google. Make the creative. Write and schedule your posts. Build the landing page or the website. Put every inquiry into one place, answer it within seconds inside the hours you allow, book the ones that want booking, and flag the ones who want a call with their number attached.

That is up to and including the moment somebody is ready to speak to you.

What we do not do

We do not call your customers. Not to chase, not to qualify, not to follow up. The number goes to you and you make the call.

We do not sit in on your calls. No listening in, no scripts, no coaching on how to close.

We do not quote your jobs. We do not know what a job costs, what your capacity is this week, or what the site looks like. Guessing at any of those on your behalf would be worse than useless.

We do not pretend to be you. The automation acknowledges and books. It does not impersonate a member of your staff having a conversation.

We do not hold your ad budget. It goes from your card straight to Meta or Google. We never touch it and never take a percentage.

We do not keep your account. Campaigns run in your ad account, not ours. If you leave, the history, audiences and learning stay with you.

Why the line is there

Three reasons, and they are all practical rather than philosophical.

The customer can tell. The moment an agency stands between a local business and its customer, something is lost that is difficult to name and easy to feel. People buy from the plumber, not the plumber’s marketing company. Somebody phoning on your behalf is a telemarketer, however carefully scripted.

We would be worse at it than you. You know what the job costs, what you can fit in, what the common objection is and how to answer it. We would be reading from a document.

It is the part of the business you cannot outsource and stay a business. If somebody else owns the relationship with your customers, you are a subcontractor to your own marketing.

What this means for who we suit

This is the honest consequence. We are wrong for you if nobody can call leads back.

If every call goes to voicemail, if forms are checked twice a week, if the owner is on site until six and too tired after, then we will deliver inquiries into a gap and you will conclude the advertising did not work.

We would rather say that on the first call. It is the most common reason we tell somebody not to start yet, and the fix is usually six weeks of unglamorous work that costs them nothing and does not involve us.

What you get instead of us doing it

Because we are not calling your leads, what we build is the thing that makes your call easier.

The inquiry arrives already acknowledged, so the person is expecting you. Where they wanted a time, it is already on your calendar. Where they wanted a conversation, their number is flagged with whatever they told us. Everything is in one place rather than spread across a page inbox, a form notification and a voicemail.

The aim is that when you pick up the phone, the awkward part is done and you are starting from a warm conversation rather than a cold one.

The thing we get asked for most

A full appointment setting service, where somebody chases every lead until they book.

Those exist, they cost considerably more than we charge, and for some businesses they are the right answer. What we would say is that they work best where the sale is standardized and the margins carry the cost. For most local trades, the owner closing their own work converts better than a third party ever will.

If you genuinely need somebody making calls, we would rather point you at that than pretend our product does it.

Where this leaves us

We are good at getting the phone to ring and making sure nothing is dropped before it does. We are not a sales team and we do not want to be one.

If that split works for how your business runs, it works well. If it does not, that is worth finding out before anybody signs anything.
